Roger Finderson, President of the Workers’ Advocacy and Injury Law Group (WILG) and Delaney Finderson, with spouses Terra Finderson and Daylan Schurg attended the admissions dinner and welcome ceremony for the 2025 inductees of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers (CWCL) on April 5, 2025, in Chicago. President Thomas Murphy of MT gave the admission speech and entered a fantastically qualified and impressive Class of 2025.
This incredible honor is presented only to attorneys who demonstrate exceptional qualifications, ethical standards, character, integrity, and professional expertise within the workers’ compensation field, as well as a commitment to the College’s objectives. They are also expected to exhibit strong professional traits and be a model of civility and professionalism in their practice. These attorneys must be in service of the workers’ compensation field for at least twenty years, and they must be nominated and approved to be inducted into the College. The CWCL is for all in the field of workers’ compensation, notably including judges, defense attorneys, and plaintiffs’ attorneys.
Notably, many members of WILG are also inductees of the CWCL. Roger Finderson was inducted into the College in 2021. Fort Wayne local and mediator, Karl Verraco, was among the several inductees this year. Legend awards are presented annually at these celebrations, and the event was proud to see so many bright legal minds continue the dedication to improve the field and protections of workers’ compensation. Congratulations to the Class of 2025, and here’s to another year.
