Finderson Law LLC sponsored a team composed of Roger Finderson, J.D., Dr. George Joachim of Aaron Chiropractic, and Terry Hammer, VP of Engineering at Dana Light, to support Trine University and Junior Achievement at Glendarin Golf Club in August of 2022. A pro-am golf tournament is a golf event where professional golfers are paired with amateur golfers for a round or multiple rounds of golf, often as a charity event or to honor sponsors, providing a unique experience for both participants and fans. Each team is partnered with a professional golfer, which our team had the honor of working with Elizabeth Schurg. Oak Partners of Auburn Indiana helped coordinate the event to the joy of all!
Junior Achievement (JA) supports youth by preparing them for success in work readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. Their programs aim to inspire and equip students from kindergarten through high school with the skills and mindset to understand money management, explore careers and develop job skills, and start and run businesses through school and volunteers in the local community. While the team’s competition placement was shanked, not stirred, the camaraderie and the joy of meeting with other professionals and supporters from the event certainly was. Finderson Law looks forward to participating in the charity support again!
